We’re looking for individuals to serve as Standardized Patients—a unique paid opportunity to contribute to the future of healthcare and help ensure the competency of future optometrists. 

  

What is a Standardized Patient (SP) ?  

A standardized patient is a trained actor that carries multiple responsibilities. SP's allow candidates to demonstrate clinical decision making, clinical skills, effective communication, and diagnostic techniques in a realistic and controlled environment. 

  

What are the hiring requirements?   

No previous work experience is required. However, your eyes will be evaluated for suitability to perform various job functions. 

 

The ideal candidate is available to work between 20-25 hours a week on a regular basis. 

  

 How much does the position pay? 

¨ $17/ hour 

¨ Paid training

¨ Opportunity to earn a $500 bonus
