Brooksource is seeking a Junior Cyber Security Engineer specializing in AI Development to join our Fortune 100 banking client in Charlotte, NC. In this pivotal role, you will enhance cyber defenses by crafting and implementing cutting-edge AI and machine learning models. Your work will directly contribute to the real-time detection and response to cyber threats, ensuring the organization remains resilient against digital attacks.

You will be part of a forward-thinking team that leverages Generative AI to extract critical insights from complex data and fortify our clients' digital domains. Our client’s comprehensive approach to cybersecurity enables proactive risk identification and mitigation, fostering an environment of growth and resilience. Daily you will:

• Develop and deploy AI-powered security solutions in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Identify and prioritize emerging cyber threats, creating robust AI strategies for mitigation.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build and maintain data pipelines for AI model development.
• Integrate AI models into existing security frameworks, ensuring seamless operational functionality.
• Continuously monitor AI model performance, optimizing and updating to maintain peak effectiveness.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Familiarity with version control and code repository tools such as GitLab and GitHub.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Cloud Experience (AWS or Azure)
• Familiarity with API’s, including endpoint creation and API call management.
• Exposure to AI/Machine learning model development
• Foundational knowledge of Data Science and Statistics principles.
