Job Description
Duties Responsibilities
Looking for a student who is interested in working in the Performing Arts at Robinson Hall. Work will include general stage hand responsibilities, running lights or sound during a performance, striking the stage after a performance, and setting up the music concert shell. Students must have a high regard for safety. Student must be dependable.
Other Work Responsibilities
Other responsibilities could include hanging lights for a production, running cabling for microphones or speakers, painting, managing inventory, and other tasks as assigned. Student will be trained and assigned tasks to the level of his or her ability.
Student must be comfortable working at heights including working in catwalks or a genie lift. Student must be able to safely carry items weighing 40lbs. Student must be comfortable using hand trucks, carts, getting dirty, and working on their feet for long periods of time.
Preferred work hours are 6pm - 10pm Monday- Saturday. Shifts are dependent on the production schedule in the CoAA. Other hours are available as needs arise. Students are expected to be dependable and present for scheduled shifts. Students must show a progression of growth applying training and on the job experience.
