Project Assignments & Learning Goals
As a Digital & Core Solutions Intern, you will be exposed to the behind‑the‑scenes operations of digital banking systems, with opportunities to contribute to projects such as:
- Supporting digital banking platforms and core data solutions used across the bank
- Assisting with data analysis, process automation, and process improvement initiatives
- Exploring the feasibility of new digital services and enhancements
- Participating in projects tied to future digital initiatives, depending on business needs and project life cycles
- Collaborating with cross‑functional partners to understand how business needs translate into technical solutions
Technical Skills & Areas of Interest
This role is ideal for students with interest or exposure in areas such as:
- Data analysis and reporting
- Process automation or robotic process automation (RPA)
- Cybersecurity concepts
- Scripting, APIs, or emerging technologies
- Digital banking, security, and fraud prevention
- A strong interest in learning how digital channels and data systems support customer experiences is essential.
Essential Functions
- Support day‑to‑day activities within the Digital & Core Data Solutions team
- Contribute to assigned projects and track progress against defined goals
- Participate in team meetings, demonstrations, and knowledge‑sharing sessions
- Learn First Bank’s digital strategy, customer experience philosophy, and service standards
- Use technology tools to analyze information and communicate effectively
- Complete required training and comply with all policies, procedures, and regulations
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Rising senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as:
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Data Analytics
- Cybersecurity
- Digital Technology or similar disciplines
- Relevant coursework or academic project experience related to technology, data, or automation
