Digital & Core Solutions Intern

First Bank is seeking a Digital & Core Solutions Intern for our Summer 2026 Internship Program. This opportunity is designed for rising college seniors who are curious about how technology powers modern community banking and who want hands‑on exposure to enterprise‑level digital solutions.

Project Assignments & Learning Goals

As a Digital & Core Solutions Intern, you will be exposed to the behind‑the‑scenes operations of digital banking systems, with opportunities to contribute to projects such as:

• Supporting digital banking platforms and core data solutions used across the bank
• Assisting with data analysis, process automation, and process improvement initiatives
• Exploring the feasibility of new digital services and enhancements
• Participating in projects tied to future digital initiatives, depending on business needs and project life cycles
• Collaborating with cross‑functional partners to understand how business needs translate into technical solutions

Technical Skills & Areas of Interest

This role is ideal for students with interest or exposure in areas such as:

• Data analysis and reporting
• Process automation or robotic process automation (RPA)
• Cybersecurity concepts
• Scripting, APIs, or emerging technologies
• Digital banking, security, and fraud prevention
• A strong interest in learning how digital channels and data systems support customer experiences is essential.

Essential Functions

• Support day‑to‑day activities within the Digital & Core Data Solutions team
• Contribute to assigned projects and track progress against defined goals
• Participate in team meetings, demonstrations, and knowledge‑sharing sessions
• Learn First Bank’s digital strategy, customer experience philosophy, and service standards
• Use technology tools to analyze information and communicate effectively
• Complete required training and comply with all policies, procedures, and regulations

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Rising senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as:
• Computer Science
• Information Systems
• Data Analytics
• Cybersecurity
• Digital Technology or similar disciplines
• Relevant coursework or academic project experience related to technology, data, or automation
