An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Maintenance Department. We are hiring a maintenance assistant to join our dedicated maintenance team.

You will inspect different equipment and building infrastructure and report findings to the maintenance team to perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. You will occasionally be asked to assist with repairs or maintenance and sometimes complete small projects with little oversight.

To do well in this role, you should have previous experience in maintenance based roles or be mechanically inclined. We expect you to have experience with various hand and power tools and be comfortable in their use after instruction.

This is a part time position of up to 20 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting routine inspections of our premises and equipment
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Handling basic repairs and maintenance
• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary
• Use of common hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, pliers and wrenches
• Use of common power tools such as drills and impact drivers
