Project Description and Location:
We are seeking a student with photography expertise to help showcase the vibrant activities and programs offered at the Morrison Family YMCA. The project involves photographing various programs in action, creating high-quality images for social media, newsletters, and other marketing materials. The project will be conducted on a hybrid basis, combining in-person photography sessions at the Morrison YMCA with remote editing work.


Project Scope:
The selected student will:
1. Capture photos of activities and programs, focusing on weekday afternoons (3:00PM–7:00 PM) and short Saturday morning sessions.
2. Edit and deliver a curated collection of images that align with our marketing vision and goals.
3. Collaborate with program directors and marketing staff to ensure alignment with YMCA branding and community engagement strategies.
4. Receive mentorship and constructive feedback to refine their work and meet project goals.

• Current student in photography, art, or a related field, though students with the right skills and interest are encouraged to apply.
• Skilled in photography and familiar with editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
• Passionate about capturing candid, action-focused imagery that tells a story.
• Ability to collaborate with various staff and community members.

Hours Required for Completion:
Approximately 30–40 hours, including on-site photography and remote editing.

Platforms for Use:
The photos will be utilized across social media platforms, newsletters, flyers, and other marketing materials to inspire and engage our community.
