Join Esri Summer Internship Program  

Immerse yourself as a Graphic Design intern within a cutting-edge software company committed to science, sustainability, community, education, research, and positive change! This is an opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and innovative group of designers to design and produce a wide range of portfolio-worthy work.  

Responsibilities

What You'll Do 

Our interns have worked on a wide range of exciting projects. Here are some examples of work you may do:   

  • Artwork Creation: You may develop visually appealing graphics for various projects. 
  • Presentation Design: You may help to craft engaging and impactful presentations. 
  • Stage Design: You may help to contribute to the creation of captivating stage setups. 
  • Advertising: You may assist in creating print and digital advertising materials. 
  • Social Media Graphics: You may design eye-catching visuals for social media platforms. 
  • Content Layout: You may work on print layouts, including Esri Press publications. 
  • Esri Conferences and Events: You may help provide support designing materials for Esri’s most significant event, our User Conference, bringing thought leaders and geospatial professionals worldwide in the beautiful city of San Diego! 

Requirements

  • We look for students majoring in graphic design and are currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD program at a university in the United States; undergrads must be in junior or senior standing
  • Available to complete a consecutive, onsite 12-week internship beginning in May or June 2025 in Redlands, CA
  • Link to portfolio featuring examples of interaction design work
  • Experience in design production, quality assurance, Adobe Creative Suite, and different design collateral
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this posting. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. 

 

Program Timeline 

  • Applications Accepted: September 1–December 31, 2024 at 5:00 pm PST 
  • Interviews: Students selected for phone interviews will be notified by email on a rolling basis October 2024 – January 31, 2025
  • Internship: 12 weeks beginning in late May or June
