Charlotte Montessori is looking for a person who is passionate about working with children to join our amazing team. Just minutes from uptown, nestled in the Dilworth neighborhood, our school is home to almost 200 children, ages 15 months - 6 years and 36 wonderful staff members. We are excited to welcome a new team member to support our teachers and contribute to our classrooms.

Afternoon support teachers have flexible schedules. You will assist the lead or assistant teachers in the classrooms to care for the children. You will provide classroom and playground supervision as well as, learn more about early childhood education, positive discipline, and the Montessori philosophy. This position is great for college students looking to build their resume, gain experience with this age group, and see Montessori education in action.

Hours and days are flexible- Ideally, the candidate will commit to a consistent schedule of 3-5 days per week from either 2:30-5:30 or 4-5:30. 

Pay starts is $15/hour.

• Must love working with children
• Able to work in a team and individually
• Responsible, dependable, and punctual
• CPR/FA trained is a plus
• Montessori experience is a plus
• Background and health checks will be required as mandated by the state
