Solutions Consultant

Tech Wheelhouse, LLC.

Full-Time
Closes on Tuesday, November 10, 2026

Job Description

As a Solutions Consultant, you'll lead medium-sized EAM implementation projects while managing the work of one or two junior consultants.

You'll be responsible for more than completing assigned tasks. You'll help create the plan, understand the customer's problem, keep the project moving, and make sure the solution delivers the intended result.

•      Lead implementation projects from planning through delivery, including scope, schedules, milestones, risks, and customer communication.

•      Understand the customer's operation and translate business needs into a practical project approach.

•      Build and manage project plans, delivery timelines, action logs, status reports, and project documentation.

•      Direct the day-to-day work of one or two junior consultants by setting priorities, reviewing deliverables, removing roadblocks, and providing feedback.

•      Lead customer meetings, discovery sessions, working sessions, demonstrations, training, and project updates.

•      Partner with Solution Architects and technical specialists to design solutions that address the real business problem - not simply recreate a broken process in new software.

•      Configure and support EAM solutions while participating in testing, troubleshooting, reporting, integrations, and go-live support.

•      Identify risks early, communicate them clearly, and drive decisions before they become delivery problems.

•      Continue developing your knowledge of EAM, SQL, maintenance, reliability, and asset-management processes.

What Success Looks Like

•      Customers understand the plan, know what is expected of them, and trust you to keep the project moving.

•      Milestones and deliverables are completed on time.

•      Problems are surfaced early instead of explained late.

•      Junior team members have clear priorities and the support needed to produce strong work.

•      The finished solution addresses the underlying business problem and is built to last.

•      You become increasingly self-sufficient while knowing when to bring in deeper technical or functional expertise.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and one to three years of experience in consulting, software implementation, business systems implementation, or comparable project delivery.

Industrial Engineering is strongly preferred. We will also consider closely related degrees focused on industrial systems, operations, process improvement, supply systems, manufacturing systems, or systems engineering.

Mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering backgrounds alone are not aligned with the business-process and systems focus of this position.

You should also have:

•      Experience building project plans, managing milestones, and leading customer communication.

•      The ability to coordinate the work of others and hold people accountable without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

•      Experience analyzing business processes and using tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.

•      Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.

•      The ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining responsive and following through on commitments.

•      An interest in developing deeper knowledge of HxGN EAM, SQL, reporting, integrations, maintenance, and reliability.

You'll Probably Thrive Here If...

•      You finish what you start and don't need someone chasing you for the last 10%.

•      You enjoy taking an unclear problem and turning it into a practical plan.

•      You ask good questions, connect the dots, and look for better ways to solve problems.

•      You communicate confidently and build relationships with operators, technical teams, and executives.

•      You bring structure without burying people in process.

•      You are humble enough to ask for help and hungry enough to keep learning.

•      You want meaningful responsibility in a smaller, growing company.

How We Work

This is a Greenville-based hybrid position. We don't mandate a specific number of office days, but this is not designed to be a fully remote role.

New employees should expect to spend approximately two to three days per week in the office, particularly while learning the business, building relationships, and developing their EAM knowledge. Flexibility will increase as you become established and project needs allow.

Travel will vary based on the project portfolio. Most project leads currently travel less than 25-50%, and travel is not expected to exceed 50%. All anticipated travel is within the United States.

Benefits

•      Medical, dental, and vision coverage, with the company paying 80% of employee premiums.

•      401(k) plan with company match.

•      Paid time off and company holidays.

•      Monthly technology stipend.

•      Hybrid work flexibility.

•      Professional development and hands-on learning from experienced EAM professionals.

If you're ready to lead real projects, solve tough problems, and help build something that is still growing, we'd like to meet you.
