Job Description

The Customer Due Diligence Operations (CDDO) Closure Team acts as an operational function of the Enterprise Financial Crimes Compliance (EFCC) group. The CDDO maintains a centralized team that executes and/or oversees closure recommendations resulting from various EFCC touch points.

Executes and/or provides oversight for activities relating to account closures and exiting relationships from the different referral sources. Work through the closure work items assigned daily. Assists in the implementation of an effective risk management framework. Monitors systems, databases, information, processes, or procedures. Helps manage and respond to emails in the teams' Shared mailbox. Identifies and escalates matters requiring attention to the appropriate area. Performs work on projects and initiatives and assists in the assessment and implementation of internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Provides guidance, support and recommendations to Lines of Business and assists in the implementation of Risk/Audit/Compliance initiatives. Collaborate with different business lines and departments to provide information they may be requesting to assist with Closure cases.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Typically more than one year of applicable experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Thorough knowledge of operations, products/services, systems, and risks/controls applicable to assigned area

  • Thorough understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends

  • Well-developed analytical skills

  • Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Strong PC skills, particularly word processing, spreadsheet, databases, and presentations

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $24.90 - $33.17 - $36.49
