The Supply Chain Specialist supports the Global Supply Chain strategy and Global Category Managers.  They will develop and execute supply chain strategic direction with Global Category Managers, lead improvement activities with select vendors, execute savings opportunities to support profitability and support risk mitigation of the supply chain.

  • Enforce terms and conditions of purchase orders and other agreements.
  • Maintain up-to-date pricing and payment terms across categories. 
  • Drive compliance with company policy and legal requirements. 
  • Resolve nonconformance issues, back-charges, and claims to minimize the company's exposure. 
  • Identify risk areas within the supply chain; implement appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure internal customer needs are met.
  • Develop supplier spend reports to identify targeted improvements, and leverage value for the company.
  • Develop expertise in Supply Chain SAP functionality and processes. 
  • Maintain master data across the Supply Chain function. 
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement events with suppliers; improve total cost of ownership.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute project plans with Category Managers to resource and launch products with suppliers. 
  • Implement sourcing design changes to improve operations reliability and reduce costs.
  • Work with operations and business teams to design optimal source points and shipping arrangements.
  • Works with the Operations team to maximize value across the supply chain and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate the identification, onboarding, and development of new suppliers. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a buyer-planner, customer service manager, or applications engineer.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Supplier interaction skills.
  • Inclusive leader – a proven record of driving cross-functional projects & building collaborative relationships.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and expertise in Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Highly customer-centric, responsive, and a go-getter. 
  • Strong analytical skills and presentation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Clear thinker with the ability to support projects with high sensitivity towards maintaining timelines.
  • Six Sigma training or equivalent Quality certification is a plus.
