We are searching for a IT Network Management Intern to join our Summer 2025 cohort.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to join our team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in managing and optimizing our network infrastructure. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in a real-world environment while supporting our IT operations.


AREAS OF FOCUS: 

 

Network Management:

  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
  • Monitor network performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal connectivity and security.
  • Support the implementation of network updates, patches, and security configurations.

 

Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Help diagnose and resolve network-related issues, providing technical support to internal teams as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining network documentation, including network diagrams, IP addressing, and device configurations.
  • Participate in network audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

 

Security and Compliance:

  • Assist in ensuring the network complies with company security policies and industry best practices.
  • Support the implementation of network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Help monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to potential security threats.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

  • Must be a rising senior of a Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and in good academic with a minimum 3.0 GPA as of Summer 2025
  • Basic understanding of  networking fundamentals, including understanding of routing, switching, and network protocols.
  • Exposure to Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Velocloud SD-WAN is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
