Job Description
- Arrives to work in a timely manner and in work appropriate attire
- Assist the Event Management staff with commencements and graduations, concerts, meetings, student focused events, blood drives, fairs/festivals and a variety of other special events in Halton Arena and Salons
- Assists the Event Management staff with UNC Charlotte Men’s and Women’s Basketball games, Women’s Volleyball matches, and home Football games
- Serves as Event Manager for salon events
- Prepares Guest Services Cart and Student Event Staff Check-In area for all Arena events
- Supervise and oversee Student Event Staff positions including Ticket Takers and Guest Services by ensuring all staff is aware of position duties and responsibilities
- Routinely checks and monitors Student Event Staff to ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures
- Enforces all SAC, Athletics, and UNC Charlotte policies and procedures for all patrons visiting the facility
- To become involved in any problems concerning patron admission and seek resolution according to facility policy and/or in a professional manner and notify Event Management Staff to assist in conflict resolution
- Provides valuable feedback to Assistant Director of Events about Student Event Staff issues and concerns
- Provides other service tasks as assigned by Event Management staff
