Part-time Preschool Fitness Teacher

What if your "job" looked like this: You walk into a preschool, hit play on your playlist, and spend the next 30 minutes leading a room full of 3-year-olds through an adventure-themed obstacle course — and get paid for it.

That's a Tuesday at Stretch-n-Grow.

We are the Lake Norman area's premier in-school enrichment program, bringing certified fitness, gymnastics, dance, yoga, music, and movement classes directly to preschools and childcare centers across the region. Our coaches don't sit behind a desk — they bring the energy, imagination, and enthusiasm that makes kids fall in love with moving their bodies.

This role is for you if:

• Movement, music, or early childhood education is your background — or your passion
• You light up in front of a group of kids and can hold a room with nothing but a drum beat and a big personality
• You want meaningful, flexible, part-time work that doesn't involve nights or weekends
• You're the person who never really stopped loving gym class

This role is probably NOT for you if channeling your inner child sounds exhausting. Our classes run on imagination and energy — and we need coaches who bring both every single time.

What You'll Do

Travel to preschool and childcare partners across the Lake Norman area and lead 30-minute, theme-based classes in fitness, gymnastics, music, or movement for children ages 12 months to 12 years. Lesson plans and all equipment are provided — you bring the coaching magic.

• $17–$19/hour based on experience and credentials
• Part-time, 5–15 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9am–2pm
• No evenings. No weekends. Ever.

What We're Looking For

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Background or strong interest in fitness, dance, gymnastics, music, sports, or early childhood education
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and personal auto insurance
• Comfortable driving to multiple school sites within the territory
• Must pass a background check
• Available during both the school year and summer months
• Prior preschool or childcare experience is a plus — but heart and energy matter more
