SECU: Community Engagement and Marketing Intern

The Internship
What You’ll Do This internship offers a dynamic mix of program support, fundraising, and communications work. Responsibilities may include: Program & Summer Camp Support • Assist with CFH’s summer youth programming (Camp RUSH), including “pitch hitting” where needed • Support coordination of volunteers (scheduling, communication, day-of logistics) • Help ensure a positive, engaging experience for children and families Event Planning & Fundraising • Support early planning and implementation of CFH’s signature fall event, Home for the Holidays o Assist with silent auction procurement and organization o Support sponsorship outreach and tracking o Contribute creative ideas for event experiences and engagement • Assist with smaller summer engagement opportunities and donor events Communications & Marketing • Help create and schedule social media content • Draft blog posts, newsletters, and donor communications • Assist with storytelling, including capturing and sharing family impact stories • Support basic media and press outreach 15th Anniversary Planning • Assist in planning for CFH’s 15th anniversary celebration year • Help gather stories, photos, and archival content • Support development of materials that highlight CFH’s history and impact
