We are seeking a detail-oriented analyst to join our Fortune 100 banking client’s Technology Business Line Testing (TBLT) team within the Technology organization. This pivotal role serves as a first line of defense, conducting thorough audits and tests on the design and operational effectiveness of our Technology, Data, and Information Security processes, applications, and infrastructure controls. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining our risk management practices across Ally.

 

Daily you will:

  • Collaborate with Technology leaders and subject matter experts to evaluate, report, and resolve risks and controls.
  • Perform rigorous audits on IT/IS controls, assessing both design and operational effectiveness in compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
  • Identify and address gaps in operational effectiveness and compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and action plans for business partners and senior management based on audit findings.
  • Evaluate and enhance Technology, Cyber Security, and Data Management processes and systems to bolster compliance and risk management.
  • Design and implement testing procedures to ensure the security of systems, networks, and applications, managing risk remediation effectively.
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and develop strategies to address gaps with minimal oversight.

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of building and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • General Foundational Knowledge of IT Functions and types of systems/applications.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
