Responsibilities:

  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality designs within an established brand identity

  • Create innovative and attractive PowerPoint presentations, interactive PDFs, and website design support

  • Display strong organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Collaborate and brainstorm with other like-minded creatives and stakeholders

  • Demonstrate consistent quality and proof work prior to submitting

  • Work as a team play and independently, selecting the best course of action under tight deadlines

  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas to creative team leadership

  • Professionally communicate with external partners, vendors, printers and colleagues as needed

  • Show strong skills in manipulating photography to create realistic photo mockups of existing spaces

  • Proficient use of Dropbox, and ability to maintain digital files according to set guidelines and file naming conventions

  • Amend designs based on constructive criticism

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required, in graphic design or related field

  • Must live in the Charlotte area and based in the corporate office

  • Must provide a strong portfolio of work examples, preferably in digital format

  • 2-3+ years of experience working in a design firm or in a creative team environment is preferred

  • Proficiency in graphic design fundamentals, including typography, color theory and composition

  • Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

  • Premier Pro and After Effects are a plus

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Experience with video editing, motion graphics, and photography is a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Display effective problem-solving skills and appropriate use of design programs for specific tasks

  • A keen eye for design aesthetics and attention to detail

  • Views feedback positively to elevate their designs and improve their skill

  • Self-driven, proactive and a positive attitude

  • Takes pride in their work and has a passion for design
