Overview: The UNC Charlotte Graduate School seeks a creative, organized and enthusiastic student to join the MarComm team as a Content Assistant. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a student interested in content creation, marketing and storytelling to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. The candidate will collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communications and other team members to coordinate content that represents the university's brand and engages our target audiences.

Job Responsibilities
1. Content Creation: Coordinate the development of compelling and visually appealing spotlight content on websites. Create, edit and publish content on various platforms, such as web, social media, email and print materials to promote graduate programs and accomplishments.
2. Storytelling: Develop creative and compelling ways to highlight Charlotte’s graduate voice through a collection of profiles of graduate alumni, students, faculty and staff members to recognize the people and accomplishments of graduate education.
3. Photography and Videography: Assist in managing photo/video sessions and capturing high-quality photos and videos to support content features.
4. Collaboration & Project Management: Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications staff to coordinate content pitches, gather information, lead management of content submissions and execute spotlight creation and amplification.

4. Proficiency in photography, videography, and video editing apps to create visually appealing content.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
6. Familiarity with UNC Charlotte’s values, culture, and brand identity.
