Federal Work Study
Closes on Monday, January 13, 2025

Job Description

Design an innovative product or products that can be used in STEM learning. Product should not replicate another product that already exists in the market. You can either generate your own product idea or work on one provided by us, showcasing out-of-the-box thinking to create unique learning experiences for K-12 students.

Design will include 3D parts and assemblies. If you are not comfortable with 3D design, you can help the team with idea generation. All you need is passion and good understanding of STEM concepts. You could be pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and other Engineering disciplines.

The designed STEM tool(s) will be intended for commercial sale in the marketplace.

If you were to design a product, then you will be involved in testing your design with a physical prototype, resolving any issues identified during testing. Prototype will be built by us following your design specs. We will ship the prototype to your location for your testing. This will provide you with an in-depth end-to-end experience on product development.

If you were to design a product, you will be involved in creating product documentation, including detailed assembly instructions and user manuals.

If you were engaged to only generate ideas for STEM products, then you would provide written documentation explaining your idea and how it is supposed to work. Our designers will take your written specs to create 3D designs. A simple hand drawn sketch of your idea along with the written documentation is desired.
