Job Title: Land Development Intern
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: Summer 2025
Compensation: $20-$30 per hour (DOQ)

 Position Overview:

We are seeking an eager and motivated Land Development Intern to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This internship provides a unique opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in land development. You’ll be exposed to all phases of land development, from planning to project execution, and will contribute to meaningful projects that impact the community.

 Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, design, and coordination of land development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3d.
• Support the team with site assessments, feasibility studies, and land use planning.
• Assist in preparing reports, construction documents, and regulatory submittals.
• Conduct research and gather data for various land development processes.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and data analysis.

 Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Civil Engineering.
• Interest in land development, site design, and sustainable engineering practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Experience with AutoCAD, GIS, or other design/engineering software is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
