Interior Design Assistant / Junior Designer

INTERIOR DESIGN ASSISTANT / JUNIOR DESIGNER WANTED!

Looking for a creative, talented, and motivated individual to join my growing interior design and design-build firm, Havencraft Design Build, here in the Lake Norman/Charlotte area!

This could be an AMAZING opportunity for someone who has recently graduated with an interior design degree or has a design background and is looking to gain real-world experience while learning and growing alongside an established designer.

A little about what I’m looking for:

✨ Interior design education or background (recent graduates welcome!)

✨ Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and creating beautiful mood boards/design presentations

✨ Someone who can take my design concepts, inspiration, and vision and help bring them to life visually

✨ Creative, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently

✨ Someone eager to learn, collaborate, and grow within the interior design industry

A little about the opportunity:

I have nearly 30 years of experience in interior design, and our company is expanding into more extensive renovations, custom projects, and full-service design-build work.

This is an opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience across a variety of exciting residential projects, with plenty of room to grow professionally.

The position offers flexibility and the ability to work primarily remotely, with in-person collaboration as needed.

I’m open to someone just starting their career who has the right skills, creativity, initiative, and desire to learn. This could begin as an entry-level opportunity and potentially grow into a much larger role as our company continues to expand!

If this sounds like you, or you know someone who might be a wonderful fit, I would LOVE to connect!

Please send me a private message with a little about yourself, your experience, and examples of your design work or portfolio. While this job will start as part time, there is opportunity in the very near future for a full time role.
