Summary

We are seeking a Seasonal Events Sales Associate to join our team at Pet Wants: The Urban Feed Store this holiday season! This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service and promoting our high-quality pet food products at our many holiday pop-up events. Located in a vibrant community, you will play a key role in helping pet owners make informed choices for their beloved companions.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
• Assist customers in selecting the right products for their pets' nutritional needs.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor to ensure product availability.
• Educate customers about the benefits of our Pet Wants Dry Food and other core product offerings.
• Support inventory management by restocking shelves and managing stock levels.
• Engage with customers in person and over the phone with professional etiquette and assistance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Ability to lift up to 40+ lbs and stand for 5-8 hours is a must.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays availability is required.
