Job Description

The purpose of this position is to provide oversight for the North Carolina New Teacher Support Program and Teaching Fellows Program in the Cato College of Education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. This position will also oversee alumni activities within the Cato College of Education.
The Director of Teacher Induction and Alumni Engagement will be responsible for the North Carolina New Teacher Support Program and will oversee the coaches (approximately 12), budget, and professional development offerings. The director will also provide oversight for the Teaching Fellows program and will recruit teacher candidates, support the fellows, and provide professional development. The director will also plan and facilitate alumni activities for the college. This position will work closely with schools, school districts, and community partners. UNC Charlotte
