We are looking for someone who is driven and has a basic understanding of accounting, bookkeeping, and QuickBooks. Under the supervision of our staff and managing partner, you can expect to participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports, analyze actual financial data, learn more about bookkeeping and tax software, and assist with tax preparation and other accounting activities. You should be a motivated team player who can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking. The candidate will be working at least 20 hours a week.

To be a strong candidate for this Accounting Internship, you should possess an understanding of accounting and financial principles and have a positive attitude. You should be collaborative, trustworthy, receptive to feedback, and eager to learn. 

Responsibilities 

• Assist in bookkeeping closing entries using QuickBooks 
• Assist in tax preparation filings using Ultra Tax Software
• Provide administrative support as needed

 Requirements: 

• You must be a team player and self-motivated 
• You must be pursuing a degree in Accounting or Business Admin. 
• Strong communication skills 
• Prefer a 3.0 GPA or Higher
