Job Description

  • Teaching Assistant for SOCY 1511-020 / COMM 1511-001, The Price of Place: Monopoly and the Modern Housing Market

  • The undergraduate TA for this Fall 2026 team-taught CIVIQ course will assist with facilitating in-class activities during class meetings, answering student questions, grading in a limited capacity, and providing assistance to the faculty members teaching the course. The ideal applicant has prior experience as a preceptor, communication consultant, or TA; has at least a 3.0 GPA; is at least a junior at time the position begins; is a major or minor in Sociology, WRDS, English, Communication Studies, or a related field in the social sciences; and has taken a course with either Dr. Stephanie Bradley (Sociology) or Dr. Jessi Rae Morton (WRDS) in the past. Please note that this course will take place during the Fall 2026 semester on Mondays/Wednesdays during 2:30-3:45pm in EPIC, and the Undergraduate Teaching Assistant is expected to be present during class meetings.
