Leadership & Community Engagement has multiple internships that will provide service with the community through mutually beneficial relationships. These opportunities will allow interns to experience hands-on aspects of organizing volunteer/service opportunities for students through the lens of social justice and active citizenship. 

This unique internship will spearhead the Alternative Service Break program, a program for any student who wants to give up their traditional spring break plans and engage in a week of service. This position will lead and train a team of student Site Leaders, plan timelines and details of three or more trips, create and sustain community partnerships, and overall help spread the spirit of service among Charlotte students.
