Job Description
The UNC Charlotte Career Center provides innovative career development services that connect students, alumni, and employers. Through the Career Connector Program, we partner with student organizations to embed career readiness into the student experience.
The Project
This gig places an engineering-focused student leader in a Career Liaison role. The liaison will:
-Promote internships, co-ops, and employer events
-Serve as a point of contact between student organizations, Career Center staff, and employers
-Support peer awareness of technical career pathways
Learning Experience
Students develop professional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills while engaging with industry partners.
Outcomes
-Increased participation of engineering students in career development activities
-One student strengthens leadership, employer engagement, and professional readiness skills
