Job Description
How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Delta Air Lines' Operations & Customer Center (OCC) is seeking qualified intern, available for Summer 2026 Summer work terms.
OCC Interns will be assigned to one of the teams that support Delta's 24/7 operation. The OCC is the "heartbeat" and nerve center of Delta's world-wide operations and is responsible for all tactical and strategic decision-making for any operational disruption in our worldwide network.
This OCC Intern will be assigned to our CORE Technology team that supports the enhancement and maintenance of applications for the OCC frontline, allowing the OCC to monitor & run the airline real-time.
Though individual responsibilities may vary, some examples are given below:

Support the OCC businesstechnology team with project management of one or more of the 100+applications used by the frontline OCC teams

Identify, document, and track operationalprocesses and how technology is used to support decision-making

Support the classification ofteach product's usefulness & complexity to determine where to focus ITresources and which applications to retire, maintain or enhance

Support the migrationof OCC applications to the cloud
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Undergraduate studentsin pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Project Management, AviationManagement, Aviation Science, Business, STEM or similar 4-year degreeprogram

Must be available towork May - August Summer 2026, Monday through Friday 8AM - 5PM workschedule

Must be willing torelocate to Atlanta, GA for each of the three alternating semesters

Willingness/ability tolearn new skills is required - be willing try new things and fail, learnfrom each experience and improve

Willingness tobrainstorm with and leverage expertise of other team members, maintaininga team-first attitude with success of your team as top priority

Candidate is team-orientedand highly supportive of continuous improvement methodologies

Strong organizational,project management, and verbal/written communication skills are essential

Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite, especially Excel & PowerPoint

Must be comfortableworking in group and individual settings

Concentration orprevious experience in project management, aviation management orcommunications

Successful candidateswill have familiarity and/or experience with one or more projectmanagement tools

Familiarly with theAgile project management process
