Project Engineer – Bring Ideas to Life

Are you a hands-on engineer who loves turning concepts into real, working products? At Gas Fired Products, we’re looking for a Project Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both designing and building.

This isn’t just a desk job—you’ll be actively involved in creating, testing, and improving products that make an impact.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and development of new products from concept to completion
• Improve and refine existing products through redesign and hands-on testing
• Create and update detailed 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks
• Build and test prototypes in our engineering lab
• Ensure all products meet safety, electrical, and industry standards
• Develop supporting materials (installation manuals, labels, technical documentation, etc.)
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams
• Prepare documentation for regulatory and agency approvals

What You Bring

• 5+ years of project engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong mechanical aptitude—you enjoy building and testing, not just designing
• Solid understanding of low-voltage electrical systems (up to 600V)
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices and PPE
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Bonus points if you have experience with gas or electrical product design and certification.
