Job Description

About
The College of Computing and Informatics (CCI) at UNC Charlotte is focused on innovative research and education in computer science, software systems, and information technology. Our department supports various initiatives that bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world technical application.

The Project
The student will be responsible for designing and building a new website for a small business partner or performing a comprehensive redesign of an existing site. The scope includes conducting a user experience (UX) audit, implementing SEO best practices, and ensuring full mobile responsiveness. The student will work with modern web frameworks or CMS platforms to deliver a functional, high-performing site.

Learning Experience
The student will gain hands-on experience in full-stack web development, mastering technical skills in SEO optimization and responsive design. They will also develop professional soft skills by translating business requirements into technical solutions and improving their understanding of user-centric design principles.

Outcomes
