We are currently seeking an Internal Training Intern (work from home) This position will work 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, and some weekends and evenings will be required during times of business need. Travel will also be involved up to 20% of the time. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): The Training Services Summer Internship Program offers undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to gain work experience in a non-profit organization. During the 10-week program, students receive training and develop their skills and knowledge under the guidance of experienced professionals. The 2024 Summer Internship program will run from May 29, 2024, through August 2, 2024. The Internal Training Intern will be responsible for assisting with the growth of the internal training program. The Internal Training program offers free classes for current American Red Cross employees and registered volunteers. The Intern will help support program planning, create and deliver presentations, create program metrics/reporting, and creation of a compliance program to ensure appropriate use of coupons. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD (Key Responsibilities): Creation and delivery of high-quality presentations and a compliance program to ensure appropriate use of coupon usage. Typically analyze data, present facts, and recommend solutions. Receive guidance, training, and mentoring from staff in planning and carrying out activities and assignments. Assist with the development of reports and other informational materials presented to management. May support unit with research projects.
