Position Summary & Succeeding in this Role

The Internal Communications Intern will support the development and execution of communication initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and alignment across the organization. In this role, the intern will assist with crafting clear, compelling messages for a variety of internal audiences, contributing to channels such as newsletters, intranet posts, email campaigns, and multimedia content.

 

Working alongside the Internal Communications team, the intern will gain experience in communication strategy, storytelling, organizational culture, and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities may include drafting and editing content, collecting and organizing information for communications, supporting internal events, developing visual assets, and assisting with ongoing projects that enhance communication effectiveness across the company.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to the fundamentals of corporate communications, an opportunity to build writing and project management skills, and the chance to make meaningful contributions to initiatives that help inform, engage, and inspire employees.

Requirements

·         Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or related field preferred).

·         Strong writing and editing skills, with interest in digital and organizational communication.

 

·          Ability to work part-time during the internship period, with consistent weekly availability.

·          Ability to collaborate in a hybrid or in-office environment as required by the role.

·         Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and discretion when handling internal information.
