Global Operations Fellow - January 2027 Start

The Global Operations Fellow will assist the JAARS Global Operations team in assessing needs and maintaining communication with existing JAARS bases of operation. He or she will also provide support to Global Ops task forces established to explore and develop future JAARS hubs. The Fellow will gain experience supporting mission operations in a cross-cultural context.Position Responsibilities

• Assist the Global Operations Administrator in managing tasks, performing research, and assisting the Regional Directors
• Operationally and administratively support JAARS Air, Land, and Sea programs and projects around the globe
• Liaise with other JAARS departments on behalf of Global Ops to promote interdepartmental communication and cooperation
• Manage the Global Ops Google Drive and relevant documentation
• Assist the Vice President of Global Operations, the Global Ops Administrator,  and Regional Directors in further development, implementation, and writing of critical processes and related policies and documents
• Complete special projects to assist Global Ops initiatives and key stakeholders
• Prepare internal and external Reports and Presentations, as needed
• Schedule, organize, and record meetings on international regulations and relations, as well as future strategy and new global partnerships
• Receive, track, and communicate JAARS global staff needs to the necessary departments and committees
• Support the JAARS Operations Center in developing functions and systems to monitor JAARS international fields and assets
• Other job-related duties as assigned by your manager

  • Majors include International Affairs/Relations, Intercultural Studies, Communications, Transportation (Aviation, Land, or Sea), or Project Management
  • French or Spanish language proficiency desired, but not required
