Monarch NC, a trusted provider of high-quality, trauma-informed care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness, and substance use disorders, is seeking a Team Leader to guide our Community Engagement team in New Bern, North Carolina.
What You’ll Do
As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in supporting both staff and the individuals we serve. Your leadership will help create opportunities for people to reach their personal goals and live with dignity and independence. Responsibilities include:
- Supervising and mentoring team members while ensuring quality services.
- Serving as the Qualified Professional for assigned individuals and programs.
- Conducting assessments, monitoring progress, and facilitating person-centered plans.
- Coordinating with providers and natural supports to meet individual needs.
- Managing service requests, clinical authorizations, and compliance requirements.
- Reviewing documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to service standards.
What We’re Looking For
To qualify, you must be a North Carolina Qualified Professional, which requires one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree (non-Human Services) + 4 years full-time (or 8 years part-time) relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Human Services) + 2 years full-time (or 4 years part-time) relevant experience
- Master’s degree (Human Services) + 1 year full-time (or 2 years part-time) relevant experience
Additional experience required:
- 3+ years working with person-centered support, behavioral plans, and daily living activities.
- 3+ years supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential, community, or day program settings.
- 2+ years of management experience.
