Monarch NC is seeking a dedicated Qualified Professional to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Albemarle, NC. Monarch is a nonprofit leader in person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and substance use disorders. What You’ll Do
As a Qualified Professional on our ACT team, you’ll work directly with individuals to:
- Build skills for daily living, employment, and community integration.
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments covering medical, psychiatric, educational, vocational, and social history.
- Facilitate access to community services and support networks.
- Provide coaching and training in independent living skills.
- Monitor and respond to individual needs on a daily basis.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, field-based environment and is committed to empowering individuals to make informed choices about their lives.
Qualifications
To be considered, you must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:
- Bachelor’s degree (non-Human Services) + 4 years full-time experience with the population served.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree (Human Services) + 2 years full-time experience.
- Master’s degree (Human Services) + 1 year full-time experience.
Additional requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
