Social Media Content Creator & Manager Intern (Summer 2025)

About the Role:

Carolina Apartment Locating is looking for two creative and social-savvy summer interns to help level up our digital presence. If you're obsessed with TikTok trends, love crafting eye-catching Instagram content, and want hands-on experience in digital marketing, this gig is for you!

As our Social Media Content Creator & Manager Intern, you'll take the reins on TikTok and Instagram content—filming, editing, and managing posts that highlight apartment communities across your city. You’ll also get real-world experience with SEO, paid ads, and email marketing—aka the stuff that makes content actually convert.

Oh, and while most of this role is virtual, we’ll have some chill in-person meetups at coffee shops or co-working spaces to brainstorm, collab, and keep things fresh.

What You’ll Be Doing:

? Create & Manage Social Media Content

• Create & edit 4-6 short-form videos per week showcasing apartment features & deals

• Write ? captions, pick the best hashtags, and keep our brand aesthetic on point

• Stay on top of TikTok & IG trends to create scroll-stopping content

? SEO, Ads & Engagement

• Help optimize posts for search & boost organic reach using Google Analytics & SEO/SEM

• Assist in running Google Ads & Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) to drive more leads

• Use Zoho’s email platform to create & track email marketing campaigns

? Stay Organized & Collaborate

• Work in Asana to track content schedules and make sure everything’s posted on time

• Join occasional meetups in local spots for content planning & team collabs

What We’re Looking For:

✅ You’re a content creator at heart. You love making videos, understand what makes a post go viral, and are comfortable filming/editing on your phone.
✅ You’re social media fluent. You keep up with trends and know how to craft engaging TikTok & IG posts.
✅ You’re studying Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or something similar.
✅ You’ve got some basic video editing skills. Canva, iMovie, CapCut, Adobe Premiere—whatever works!
✅ You’re a little techy. Google Analytics, SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads—if you know them, great! If not, you’re willing to learn.
✅ You’re organized & self-motivated. This role is remote, so time management is key.
✅ You’re down for occasional in-person meetups. Nothing too serious—just team collabs at coffee shops or public spaces.
