Pet Care Contractor (Dog Walking / Pet Sitting)

Elite Pet Care Service is a premium in-home pet care company serving Charlotte, NC and York County, SC. We're looking for reliable, pet-loving contractors to join our network and provide drop-in visits, dog walks, cat care, and overnight house sitting for clients in their own homes.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not a traditional job. You set your own rates (within our network range), choose which assignments you accept, and build your own schedule. There are no minimum hours and no penalties for declining work.

What you'll do: provide professional in-home care for dogs, cats, and other pets, log visits through our app (Time To Pet), and communicate clearly with clients and our admin team.

Pay is 60% of the client-facing service rate you set, paid out weekly. Depending on the services you take on, that works out to roughly $15 to $93 per visit.

Some prior pet care experience, whether personal or professional, is preferred but not required, a valid driver's license, personal auto insurance, and an active Pet First Aid and CPR certification before your first assignment. Certification can be completed online for roughly $25 through providers like the American Red Cross or PetTech. A background check through Checkr is required during onboarding.

Service areas include Ballantyne, Pineville, Fort Mill, Tega Cay, Lake Wylie, Indian Land, SouthPark, and surrounding Charlotte metro neighborhoods.
