The Visit Program under the direction of Undergraduate Admissions Office is responsible for maintaining a team of knowledgeable tour guides, Niner Guides, to recruit prospective undergraduate students. General duties include training Niner Guide trainees and assisting the Tour Captains with general tour operations.  

Responsibilities: 

Design and facilitate lessons for Niner Guide training sessions.  
Mentor a small group of 4-6 Niner Guide Trainees through weekly study sessions and 1:1 meetings. 
Provides regular coaching and feedback to new tour guides through weekly shadows and a final evaluation.
Other similar related responsibilities as assigned or required. 

Preferred Skills:
- Ability to train bi-lingual Niner Guides to provide campus tours, preference for            Spanish speakers
- Ability to work on-campus at the Gage Undergraduate Admissions Center.
- A student in good standing with at least one (1) year of coursework.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to relate to a diverse population.
- Ability to deal with confidential material professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to deal with high stress and fast-paced office environment.
- Ability to convey confidence and manage requests with strong attention to
detail, exceptional guests service skills, problem-solving and critical
thinking.
- Ability to work a structured schedule during the operating hours of 8:00 AM
to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
