Monarch NC is seeking a committed Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS / LCASA) to join our Child Crisis team, supporting youth and families receiving Facility-Based Care (FBC) services across Cabarrus and Mecklenburg counties.
Work Schedule
- Week 1: Tuesday-Thursday 8am-6pm & Friday 10am-8pm
- Week 2: Monday & Friday-Sunday 8am-6pm
**Anticipated Start Date: June 1, 2026.**
About the Role
In this role, you will deliver behavioral health and substance use services to children and adolescents experiencing acute psychological and/or substance-related concerns. You will work closely with youth and families during critical periods—providing assessment, stabilization, therapeutic intervention, and coordinated support with the goal of maintaining safety and the least restrictive level of care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive clinical interviews with youth and families, including psychosocial history, mental status, and safety assessments
- Making accurate diagnoses that inform individualized, goal-oriented treatment planning
- Providing individual, group, and family therapy using person-centered, evidence-based approaches
- Completing crisis assessments and supporting stabilization and de-escalation efforts
- Coordinating services with internal teams and external partners to support continuity of care
- Utilizing best practices and trauma-informed approaches across all service delivery
This is a collaborative, fast-paced role ideal for clinicians passionate about crisis response and youth-focused substance use and behavioral health services.
What We’re Looking For
Required qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a Human Services–related field
- Full or provisional licensure as an LCAS / LCASA in good standing with the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board
- At least one year of experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with mental health and/or substance use diagnoses
