Analyst Intern

Location: Charlotte- based; Remote

About the Role

Global Bridge Advisory is a Charlotte, North Carolina-based startup working at the intersection of AI governance, international compliance, and technology implementation. We help nonprofits, municipal governments, and civic institutions navigate emerging AI policy frameworks, and we are building Crossera, a technology platform focused on the commercial transportation industry, where AI governance, data policy, and software development come together directly. This internship is an opportunity to work on real projects at that intersection, alongside our founder, from day one.

As an Analyst Intern, you will support our AI governance and policy consulting work for nonprofit, municipal, and civic institution clients. You will help translate complex regulatory and technical material into clear, actionable guidance.

What You'll Do

• Research AI governance frameworks, regulatory developments, and compliance standards relevant to our clients
• Summarize and synthesize policy documents, agency guidance, and industry reports into internal briefs
• Support the development of client-facing deliverables, including memos, compliance checklists, and presentations
• Assist with drafting and reviewing content for public comments and regulatory filings
• Help track policy developments relevant to AI governance and the transportation sector
• Participate in client and project meetings, taking notes and following up on action items

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a degree in public affairs, political science, public policy, international relations, or a related field
• Strong writing and research skills, with attention to detail
• Genuine interest in AI governance, technology policy, or regulatory affairs
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-moving startup environment
• No prior professional experience required; coursework or academic research in a related area is a plus
