The Role at a Glance

We are seeking a collaborative and strategic yet detail-focused Summer Intern to join our IT team that manages Enterprise Marketing Technology (MarTech). This role offers hands-on experience with industry-leading tools and technologies that support our marketing operations and digital engagement strategies. 

As a team member, you will support the management and improvement of Lincoln Financial Group’s Marketing Technology ecosystem. You’ll assist with tasks such as configuring and monitoring platforms that enable marketing operations. This includes helping ensure user access, system reliability, and data integrity across tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Workfront, Seismic, and other Martech solutions. You’ll also contribute to testing updates, maintaining integrations between platforms, and collaborating with IT and Marketing teams to explore new capabilities. This role offers hands-on experience with enterprise-level systems and the opportunity to learn how technology drives marketing success.

What you'll be doing

• Assist with user access management (creating accounts and updating permissions across MarTech platforms).
• Help configure and update settings within tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Workfront, and Seismic.
• Participate in testing and validating new features, updates, or integrations before deployment.
• Document processes and create user guides for common tasks and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and Marketing teams to support campaign execution and platform enhancements.
• Contribute to special projects, such as researching and proposing new AI-driven capabilities for the MarTech ecosystem.
• Learn and apply basic SQL or scripting skills for personalization and automation tasks.

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:

• Current Sophmore or Junior
• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to technology, data, or business/marketing concepts.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written)

Nice-to-haves: 

• Exposure to SQL and basic programming concepts, with familiarity in languages such as JavaScript and HTML.

The pay range for this position is $19 to $22 per hour with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
