The Role:
Our site in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to join our team for the Summer 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 12-14 weeks in duration. Our Electrical Team places a strong emphasis on collaboration, fostering a constructive environment where we leverage each other's experiences and expertise effectively.
What You’ll Do:
- Participate in Real Projects: Work on actual projects that contribute to new product development and ongoing enhancement efforts.
- Learn and Apply Engineering Design: Acquire knowledge of the engineering design process within a corporate setting and develop proficiency in interpreting relevant design documentation.
- Software and Tools: Gain hands-on experience with industry-standard software such as CAD and SolidWorks.
- Team Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams to support various stages of product development, from concept to production.
What We Seek:
- Educational Background: 1-2 years completed towards a college degree in an applicable field (Electrical or Mechatronics).
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles and familiarity with CAD and SolidWorks.
- Team Player: Experience being part of a team and a willingness to collaborate and learn from others.
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
- Advanced CAD and SolidWorks Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in using these tools for design and documentation.
- Project Experience: Previous experience working on engineering projects, either in academic or extracurricular settings.
Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
- Electrical Engineering: Graduating between 2025-2028.
- Mechatronics Engineering: Graduating between 2025-2028.

Eligibility:
- Must be a currently enrolled student
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May or June through mid-August or September
- Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in an internship program

Compensation: $20-$31, hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
