Carolina Village Community Care is a home care agency for women. We provide short-term in-home support to help alleviate the stress and overwhelm women experience when managing their lives and homes after childbirth, when navigating an illness or health diagnosis, or recovering from surgery or hospitalization. We also provide long-term personal care assistance to seniors.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Carolina Village Community Care is looking for an Outreach & Marketing Coordinator to help us develop and implement a creative marketing strategy as we grow our business. As an integral part of our team, you'll spearhead initiatives to help us build awareness and grow our audience both digitally and locally. Your role will involve creating engaging content for email newsletters and social media platforms, researching and attending community outreach events to network with other business
leaders, and collaborating with our team to develop and implement an innovative marketing strategy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Outreach & Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Agency Director. This role will provide direct support to the business development priorities and implementing creative marketing strategies during the 10 week internship program.

Responsibilities of the Outreach & Marketing Coordinator may include, but are not limited to the following activities:

  • CONTENT CREATION & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT:
    • Assist in brainstorming and developing content ideas for email newsletters and social media platforms aimed at promoting our services & growing our audience.
    • Create engaging written and visual content for email newsletters, social media posts, blog articles, and website updates.
    • Help manage and maintain the company's social media accounts, including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring comments and messages.
    • Assist in analyzing social media performance metrics and providing insights for optimization.
    • Research and stay updated on social media trends and best practices to inform content strategy.
  • COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENTS:
    • Research relevant local community events, conferences, and networking opportunities
    • Plan, organize, and attend outreach events along with agency team members to represent the company, add value to the community, network with other
      business leaders, and promote our services.
  • MARKETING STRATEGY & DEVELOPMENT:
    • Design and present a One Page Marketing Strategy for the agency.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges related to private pay business development.
    • Assist in creating promotional materials, presentations, and marketing collateral for events and campaigns.
    • Brainstorm and contribute ideas for creative marketing initiatives to enhance visibility and engagement.
  • CAMPAIGN TRACKING & ANALYTICS
    • Help track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, and community outreach.
    • Assist in compiling data and preparing weekly reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness and ROI for Agency Director.
    • Make data-driven recommendations for future campaigns.
    • Create and test all email marketing automations to ensure they run smoothly & efficiently
    • Develop, implement, and document standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for all marketing activities

ABOUT YOU + REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Be observant and pay attention to details in order to ensure accuracy and thorough execution in your work.
  • Anticipate challenges and proactively implement solutions to keep marketing efforts on track and pivot by adapting strategies as needed to achieve overall goals.
  • Follow instructions thoroughly and completely and take complete ownership for your tasks
  • Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to take feedback and implement it and are also not afraid to provide valuable input when needed.
  • Bring positive energy to your relationships and enjoy being a part of a team.

COMPENSATION & DETAILS
This position is a part-time position. You will have flexibility to set your work schedule each week, knowing that you may have occasional weekend work hours. You must work up to 30 hours per week between May 20 - July 26, 2024.

  • This role is a hybrid position; you can work remotely to complete some of the tasks & responsibilities.
  • You will report in-person to our office location in Matthews, NC two or three days per week for required meetings, presentations, and/or community events.
  • You must track your weekly work hours through our electronic time tracking system.
  • Having your own reliable transportation and laptop is preferred but not required.
  • Hourly rate is $15/hr paid biweekly
  • Time-off requests will be unpaid.
