POSITION SUMMARY

The Development and Operations Intern will assist the Associate Executive Director and team including the Director of Philanthropy and Operations Manager with all activities of the department, including but not limited to: annual fund, grant
writing, donor research, database management, corporate sponsorship, and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for accessible arts education and a desire to pursue a career in the nonprofit sector/development field.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist with regular donor communications, stewardship, and administrative activities, including acknowledgement letters, gift entry, and database management
· Assist with appeals, grants, corporate solicitations, and events.
· Assist with monthly financial reconciliation
· Provide administrative support for general operations.
· Interact with board members, donors, faculty, staff, and students.
· Other duties as assigned.
