If so, we are looking for an Operations Resource to join our team and learn every aspect of our manufacturing operations—starting on the floor and progressing toward leadership. This role will immerse you in daily plant operations, working alongside production, processing, and other departments. Over time, you will become a subject matter expert (SME) in manufacturing processes and transition into key leadership roles driving efficiency and innovation within our organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Work hands-on across all key manufacturing roles to understand each aspect of production and processing.
- Develop a deep technical mastery of our equipment, production lines, and manufacturing processes.
- Serve as a problem-solving champion, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently while troubleshooting issues in real-time.
- Provide technical support across operations, quality, and maintenance to reduce downtime and defects.
- Gain mechanical knowledge of equipment through direct hands-on training, eventually developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving methodologies.
- Facilitate Kaizen workshops and contribute to key performance improvements.
- Collect and analyze manufacturing data (OEE, downtime trends, quality metrics) and present insights to leadership.
- Communicate effectively across different teams, ensuring smooth coordination between materials, processing, production, and maintenance.
- Over time, transition into a leadership role, overseeing teams and driving strategic improvements across production, processing, and cross-functional departments.
- Other duties as assigned, as you continue to grow and take on more leadership responsibilities.
Who You Are:
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. or higher in Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, or Food Engineering.
- 0-3 years of work experience in manufacturing, operations, or engineering (fresh graduates welcome!).
- Strong problem-solving skills and passion for hands-on work.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power BI, Visio, etc.).
- Willingness to work directly on the production floor, engage with teams, and lead by example.
- Flexibility to travel up to 20% as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in food & beverage manufacturing or related industries.
- Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, TPM, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Previous experience in process optimization, testing, commissioning, or production startups.
