Summer Internship Start Dates: May 20th & June 3rd

Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for interns for our Electrification and Automation division in Wendell, NC to support our portfolio of protection and automation products and solutions. A variety of opportunities are available across the business supporting project design tasks, operations, product development, special projects and process improvements. On-site requirement will vary based on team placement – as will expected working hour

You’ll make an impact by:

• • Assist experienced Project Managers in the delivery of complex technical & commercial projects
  • Support the project management role through definition of schedule, budget, and scope for complex projects
  • Gain an understanding of the technical design of a project
  • Execute continuous improvement plans and capture lessons learned
  • Facilitate process improvement projects to automate repetitive tasks
  • Assist in the creation of and enhancement to functional training programs
  • Track deliverables from internal and external vendors and maintain the baseline schedule
  • Prepare and update Project Reports and required documentation (e.g. Pre-shipment electronic material lists, open item list, meeting minutes, etc.)
  • Maintain comprehensive meeting notes during customer and internal project meetings
  • Attend production meetings to help PM's drive factory to completion
  •  May participate in sales activities and client relationship
