Game center attendants are responsible for monitoring the space and equipment usage in Norms and the upcoming esports arena. They are responsible for maintaining the esports arena software systems through reboots/ troubleshooting and performing weekly needed game updates, as well as managing the pool tables and console gaming stations usage.

They complete daily interaction calculations and metrics tracking through a database program. Game center attendants ensure space users are following all policies, procedures, and facility use agreements. They are required to contact Building Managers and other esports staff by radio and appropriate messaging channels as required.

Student employees in this role will ensure spaces and equipment are clean and well maintained, enforce policies, assist walk up guests with questions, and troubleshoot guest concerns. This is a forward facing position that interacts consistently with the greater campus community and as such, customer service skills are a must.

This position covers two stations and employees can be scheduled in both the esports arena and the general game desk / recreational area. In applying to this position, you may be working in either or both stations on any given day. This position is responsible for assisting in facility emergency procedures as directed by full-time staff and in adherence with provided emergency protocol training. Available shifts may be from 12PM-11PM Monday - Sunday.
