Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for interns for our Electrification and Automation division in Wendell, NC to support our portfolio of protection and automation products and solutions. A variety of opportunities are available across the business supporting project design tasks, operations, product development, special projects and process improvements. On-site requirement will vary based on team placement – as will expected working hours.

You’ll make an impact by:

• • Assist with and complete development work on protection and automation projects that help improve engineering productivity
  • Contribute to daily activities of the group with focus on learning how to configure and test an energy automation system, based on the vast product line by Siemens (.i.e. Remote Terminal Units (RTU), protective devices (Relays), and human machine interface (HMI)
  • Contribute to the engineering design process, focusing on learning about panel AD/DC schematic drawings, logic diagrams, signal lists, and communication network diagram
