At the US Performance Center, we are committed to supporting the USA National Governing Bodies of Sport, healthcare initiatives through science-based research, real estate development, and major sporting events. We collaborate with partners across the healthcare and sports industry to integrate our novel research, technologies, and rehabilitation protocols into their care delivery procedures. Our team is dedicated to driving growth and innovation in sports, healthcare, real estate development, and events, and we are looking for a passionate Business Development Manager to help us achieve our strategic goals.
Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential and current clients, and contributing to the overall growth strategy of the company. This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual who can work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to create effective strategies for client acquisition and retention.
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and proposals to stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business development opportunities.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and network with potential clients.
- Build business decks and Pro-Formas based on client needs and meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably within the sports or healthcare industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
