Job Description
Maintain detailed records of inspections and incidents. Conduct training sessions; construction plan reviews, occupancy and event safety consultations, inspect facilities; enforce safety regulations; emergency planning; conduct investigations, assessments, and work with faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders to ensure the safety of the campus community. Serve as the primary contact for the fire department and the State Fire Marshal.
Coordinates inspections of fire suppression systems, including fire pumps, alarm systems, detectors, extinguishers, hydrants, standpipes, sprinkler systems, and other fire safety devices, and oversees repairs. UNC Charlotte
